Rotary’s Maternal and Child Health Month Celebration

The Rotary Club of Manila Villamor, in celebration of Maternal and Child Health Month, successfully hosted the impactful community project "Every Mother Matters, Every Child Counts" on July 30, 2025, at Barangay 128 Permanent Housing, Smokey Mountain, Balut, Tondo, Manila.
Held under the leadership of District Governor Mary Mei Rodrigo (RY 2025–2026), the project extended support to 50 pregnant women from Barangay 128 and nearby areas, providing much-needed assistance and maternal care.

Ferrous sulfate vitamins
Baby beddings and pillows
Campaign t-shirts with the project slogan
Health talks & nutrition counseling
On-site consultation with midwives
This compassionate initiative, with the strong involvement of Team Mercury, symbolizes Rotary’s core mission: to serve humanity and build healthier, more resilient communities for future generations.
