STEPS with LOVE is a community outreach initiative aimed at supporting parents of children with disabilities and educators in the field of Special Needs Education. Held at Sta. Ana Elementary School on July 21, 2025, the program brought together 150 parents and 20 dedicated SPED teachers for a day of empowerment, learning, and emotional support.
The project focused on enhancing parental awareness of child development, promoting inclusive education, and offering guidance on maternal and child health. Interactive sessions, resource-sharing, and open forums were conducted to strengthen collaboration between families and educators. It also served as a platform to highlight the importance of empathy, patience, and inclusive literacy for children with special needs.
Eleven committed members of the organizing team took part in the initiative, ensuring a meaningful and compassionate experience for all participants.
"Every child’s step forward is a collective stride of love, care, and understanding. Through STEPS with LOVE, we continue to build bridges between homes and classrooms—nurturing hope, awareness, and inclusive growth for children with disabilities and the community that supports them."
