GOVERNOR'S MONTHLY LETTER with action photos and a short write-up. Tell the story of your previous Rotary service project.
In a powerful display of unity and compassion, Rotary International District 3810, under the leadership of District Governor Mary Mei V. Rodrigo (RY 2025–2026), mobilized its network of Rotary Clubs in Manila for a large-scale donation drive in response to Typhoon Crising. Held in Barangay 128, District 1, Manila in July 2025, the initiative aimed to provide urgent relief to families affected by the calamity.
With the theme “Heart on a Mission,” this effort saw the active participation of numerous clubs including Rotary Club of Manila, Manila Bay, Binondo Prime, Manuel Roxas Manila, Maharlika, Villamor, Aseana Manila, and Bagumbayan Manila. Each club played a critical role in gathering and distributing essential goods such as food, hygiene kits, and care packages to help those most impacted.
This collective action not only delivered immediate aid but also rekindled hope in the hearts of the affected communities. It showcased Rotary’s unwavering dedication to humanitarian service, community care, and disaster response—living up to the motto “Service Above Self.”
The donation drive served as a reminder that in times of crisis, compassion and collaboration can bring meaningful change and recovery.
When hearts unite for a mission, communities heal and hope thrives. Thank you to every Rotarian and volunteer who made this act of service possible. 💛🌧️🤝
